Tierra Encantada Signs Area Development Deal to Enter Maryland

Spanish-immersion early education franchise Tierra Encantada has signed an area development agreement with experienced multi-unit franchisees Mari Millard and Marnie Hammel to open centres in Maryland, announced on 21 October 2026.

• Franchisees: Millard and Hammel own and operate 10 Two Maids locations. Millard is a former Vice President of Research at FRANdata.

• System: 21 centres open, with 47 more in development or under construction.

• Model: Spanish immersion, play-based STEAM learning and scratch-made meals for children aged six weeks to six years.

• Performance claim: The company states centres open more than 24 months average $2.6 million AUV (see Item 19 of its FDD).
