BurritoBar USA has awarded Nevada master franchise rights to Yamini Patel, according to the company announcement published by Franchising.com on 28 September 2026.
The agreement calls for 32 franchised Barrio Burrito Bar restaurants over the next twenty years. The development commitment adds another state to the brand’s US expansion programme.
Contracted pipeline exceeds 1,624 units
The company said its US master franchise agreements now cover more than 1,624 contractually committed franchise units. This is a development pipeline, not the number of restaurants currently trading.
Barrio Burrito Bar entered the US market in 2020 under the BURRITOBAR name and adopted its current branding in 2024. Its Canadian affiliate, barBURRITO, operates more than 400 locations, according to the announcement.
New restaurants in four states
The release lists new restaurants in Collingdale, Pennsylvania; Lebanon, Tennessee; Allen, Texas; and Bridgewater, New Jersey. Collingdale and Bridgewater mark the brand’s first restaurants in Pennsylvania and New Jersey respectively.
The Nevada restaurant count is a long-term contractual development target; the announcement does not describe all 32 restaurants as open.
